16 Years Old

Before I joined the social skills group, talking to people was really hard for me. I didn’t know what to say or how to make friends. But now, I feel way more confident when I talk to others. I’ve learned how to start conversations and keep them going. I even joined a club at school and made new friends! The group helped me a lot, and now I know what to do in social situations.

I used to feel nervous talking to new people. I didn’t know what to say, and I would get anxious. The group helped me practice talking with others and showed me how to be a good listener. Now, I feel much better when I talk to people and even have more fun! I’ve learned how to talk about things I like, and I feel like I belong.

I always had trouble talking to people, and I would get upset when I didn’t know how to start a conversation. But after joining the group, I learned how to understand how others feel and talk to them in a way that makes sense. Now I feel more comfortable talking to my friends and teachers.
